My new book, 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗧𝗼 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝘀, is now available on Amazon.
The Kindle version is free for Prime members.
Next Step: the Audiobook
I am working on a creative way to record and publish an audio version.
I’ll release the readings serially on my podcast, then compile the recordings into a full audiobook.
Atticus now has a built-in preview with page flipping.

This is perfect for reading the chapters.
Why the StreamYard Approach?
Although I have Apple Logic Pro and professional microphones, I will record the chapters in StreamYard Studio with video, then extract and edit the audio files for my podcast and upload them to Amazon ACX.
I saw a celebrity author in an online interview say something like:
‘I sell someone a book for $9.99, then they pay me $100,000 to read it to them.’
You may not be at the $100K level yet, though the popularity of audiobooks and masterclasses could work for you.
Whether you published your book as a lead magnet or want to get attention on the book itself, the following approach will generate traffic and make your book better:
- Video readings distributed across multiple platforms will attract people to your books and offers.
- The audio podcasts will reach a wider audience.
- Reading your book aloud is a good way to uncover awkward phrasing or the need for transitions or more information,
You’ll also have the audio files to publish your audiobook.
I started an Amazon ACX account and created an accepted audio file. The approach will work.
Why Amazon ACX?
For the same reasons Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) is a priority for virtually all publishers for print and eBooks, Amazon ACX is a priority for audiobooks.
Amazon ACX distributes your audiobooks to Audible, Amazon, and Apple Books. That represents about 64% of the total audiobook market.
And the audiobook market, according to Gemini, is “expected to hyper-accelerate. Industry analysts project a global compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 22.7% to 25.7% over the next decade, with expectations that the global market will scale past $39 billion by the early 2030s.”
Everywhere Else That Pays
In the spirit of Publish Your Book Everywhere That Pays, I will submit the print and eBook to IngramSpark.
IngramSpark has 45,000 outlets for your book, including bookstores, retailers, libraries, and universities. Bookselling websites could pick up your book and go viral.
Draft2Digital could work for your books if the interior does not have colour. Amazon and IngramSpark support colour interiors.
I can publish the audiobook through Voices to reach dozens of audio platforms beyond the ones supported by Amazon ACX.
